I’ll drink to that! Today’s theme from ConWorkShop is wine, beer and spirits. The favourite tipple of Rireinukave is kiyu, a beverage brewed from rai, the staple grain of Rireinu that is not entirely unlike rice. So kiyu is somewhat like rice wine. Kiyu is also distilled to make ponu, a highly potent spirit. Another beverage brewed from rai is nehi, which is more like beer. Further, many kinds of fruit are used for the production of various kinds of mehu or fruit wine.
