I’ll drink to that! Today’s theme from ConWorkShop is happiness. My people have a saying to the effect that happiness without booze (alcoholic drink) is for pretend only. That’s why I have included the verb ‘quaff’, which happens to be derived from kotu, the name of an ancient drinking vessel (and which incidentally also gave its name to ‘impact crater’). The adjective ‘prideful’ is here because it describes a kinda sorta happiness-adjacent emotion. In other words, more free association.
