Lexember 10

Another day of tradition today. Although yesterday the theme was tradition, today tradition dictates the theme, since it is customary at ConWorkShop to leave every tenth day of Lexember as a day with No theme!. Yes, complete with double punctuation. Obviously this leaves everyone to her own devices with regards to glossopoiesis.

So, today I created some very basic if not fundamental vocabulary that had hitherto been missing in Rireinutire. No longer is ‘electron’ the sole subatomic particle with a name. Isn’t it ionic?

yo varo au kura au nami yakayo: vasaro yakave hi [yakave:]
Q light.NOM xor wave.NOM xor particle.NOM be-PRS-Q || answer.NOM be-PRS-HSY that.QUO | be-PRS-HSY ||
Is light a wave or a particle? Turns out the answer is: yes.

ñavunami /ˈŋɑvuˌnɑmi/ n. IN (physics) neutron
ñihinami /ˈŋihiˌnɑmi/ n. IN (physics) proton
varonami /ˈvɑɹoˌnɑmi/ n. IN (physics) photon, quantum of light
